Douglas Turchi
Design | Drafting | Assistant Project ManagerDoug has worked in the construction field since 1997. He has been involved in projects utilizing multiple types of construction materials and methods including applications for commercial, industrial, municipal, residential and medical buildings. Doug has also designed additions, renovation projects, and has completed projects for the historic society. Prior to joining NorthPoint, Doug was responsible for leading the Architectural / Structural design team at Emanuel Engineering from 2003 to 2007 and for Aberjona Engineering from 1997 to 2003. Since joining NorthPoint, Doug has taken on the task of preparing architectural / structural drawings using AutoCAD 2007 to produce schematic design drawings and construction documents. He is also responsible for assisting the project managers in the overall coordination and development of the projects. Doug received his Associates Degree in Architectural Engineering from New England Institute of Technology, along with a 2 year additional course study program in Architectural Design Drafting.
Project responsibilities with NorthPoint include assisting with the overall development of the project, including scheduled site meetings with the entire construction team.
Doug also consults and assists in the project engineering process during the Design Development stage and the coordination of subcontractors during the bidding and construction phase.
