Marcel R. Turcotte

We would like to take a moment to remember a bright light here at NorthPoint Construction Management. Marcel Turcotte began his career as a very young man. He absorbed knowledge like a sponge, quickly gained hands-on experience in residential, retail, and commercial construction. His ambition drove him to polish his skills framing, hanging, taping, texturing, and mastering all aspects of drywall construction so that he could start his own business before he turned 20. Despite the many challenges a small business must face, Marcel overcame. He became successful in every sense of the word-a true inspiration to us all.

In1989, prior to signing on with NorthPoint, Marcel founded Wall-Tech Systems, Inc. As president, Marcel oversaw and managed thousands of projects in all venues of construction. Under his leadership, Wall-Tech diversified from specializing in drywall construction to providing a wide range of quality services, ultimately producing over $20 million in annual sales. Marcel was about as hands-on as they come. In between overseeing all of NorthPoint's operations including sales, estimating, project management, and office management, Marcel also worked directly with clients, subcontractors, project managers, office staff, and construction workers to ensure that all projects ran smoothly and cost-effectively. He took pride in keeping his word, and derived great satisfaction from the high quality of a NorthPoint finished product.

We can still hear a bit of his laughter, the light of his eyes, and the warmth of his presence living on within his two precious little girls.
